Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (internships not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Preferred: 1 year in an Innovation Lab setting
- Preferred: 1 year leading cross-collaborative initiatives within FinTech
- Preferred: 1 year managing AI technology projects
- 9 years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3 years of familiarity with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services
- 4 years in open source frameworks
- 7 years of people management experience
- 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies
- Masters degree is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Direct a diverse range of technology projects and manage a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems
- Create solutions to fulfill the organizations regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and engage with both internal and external tech communities
- Mentor members of the engineering team and occasionally write or review code
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences for millions of Americans pursuing financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
