Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 7 years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and manage a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to provide solutions that fulfill regulatory requirements
- Share your enthusiasm for staying updated on technology trends, experimenting with new tools, participating in tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally coding or reviewing code
- Collaborate closely with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences for millions of Americans, promoting their financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes alongside various AWS tools and services
