Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Masters degree (preferred)
- 9 years of experience in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go) (preferred)
- 3 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure) (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with open-source frameworks (preferred)
- 7 years of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and manage a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to deliver regulatory solutions
- Share enthusiasm for staying updated on technology trends, experimenting with new tools, and engaging with both internal and external tech communities
- Mentor fellow engineering team members and occasionally contribute code or review code
- Collaborate closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions enhancing user experiences
- Utilize a variety of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as Open Source databases and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with numerous AWS tools and services to implement solutions effectively
