Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology
- At least 6 years of experience in providing guidance and oversight of cybersecurity concepts
- At least 5 years of experience in conducting security risk assessments or security architecture reviews
- At least 5 years of experience with architecture, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure
- At least 4 years of experience in cloud security engineering
- At least 2 years of experience utilizing agile methodologies within DevOps environments
- Bachelors Degree (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience securing a public cloud environment (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in securing Identity Applications (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with Threat Modeling (preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for Information Security within the Enterprise Platforms business area
- Coordinate and provide proactive Information Security consulting to business and technology teams focusing on Infrastructure, Data, Web, and Mobile Security
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Capital Ones Information Security capabilities, solutions, policies, procedures, and standards
- Encourage clients to utilize security features and practices that integrate security earlier in development processes
- Manage and escalate cyber security risks as necessary
- Educate and guide executive leadership and staff on effectively leveraging security measures to reduce risks and address emerging threats
- Deliver the Cyber agenda and ensure the integration of Information Security within business goals
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding the overall health of Information Security and risk environment
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify their objectives and needs for enhanced service delivery
