Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years in a people management role
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, Spark, SQL, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience with open-source frameworks (preferred)
- At least 7 years of relevant people management experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of technology projects and manage a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that align with regulatory requirements
- Share your enthusiasm for keeping ahead of technology trends, engaging in experiments with new technologies, participating in both internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver strong cloud-based solutions that facilitate transformative experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Apply programming languages such as Python, Spark/SQL, TypeScript, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
