Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not count)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of people management experience
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- Proven track record of evaluating, piloting, and deploying Generative AI or LLM-based coding assistants in a regulated environment (2+ years preferred)
- Exceptional cross-functional influence and communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders (2+ years preferred)
- Experience managing vendor relationships and large-scale technical proof-of-concepts (2+ years preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of over 10 software engineers, nurturing a culture of psychological safety, resilience, and engineering excellence.
- Own the roadmap and lifecycle of AI coding assistance tools, driving extensive scale and adoption campaigns throughout the organization while enhancing developer satisfaction and productivity metrics.
- Collaborate proactively with Information Security, Legal, and Risk teams to assess, mitigate, and safely launch high-impact AI features.
- Act as the primary technical representative with key industry partners to address critical issues, enhance enterprise telemetry, and influence product roadmaps to align with Capital Ones high standards.
- Champion the development of robust telemetry and data pipelines to monitor detailed usage, productivity improvements, and financial ROI of AI tools across the organization.
