Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Preferred: Over 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks
- Preferred: 7+ years of people management experience
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse range of technology projects while managing a team of skilled developers in creating distributed microservices and full stack systems to address regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with technological advancements by engaging in tech communities, experimenting with new technologies, and mentoring fellow engineers; coding or reviewing code as needed.
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
- Employ programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.
