Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years of people management experience
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 9 years of expertise in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 7 years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives while leading a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack solutions
- Foster collaboration with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions for enhancing customer experiences
- Stay updated on technology trends, experimenting with new tools and frameworks, and contribute to technology communities
- Provide mentorship to other engineering team members and occasionally be involved in coding or code evaluations
- Utilize various programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Leverage an array of AWS tools and services in the development process
