Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering (excludes internship experience)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Masters Degree preferred
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering with knowledge of GoLang, Java, Python, React, Rust, or C++ is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience in two or more of the following: GoLang, Java, Python, Lua, React, Nginx, Rust, or C++
- Over 5 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with containerization technologies
- At least 4 years of experience working with open source frameworks
- 5+ years of experience in people management is preferred
- Experience of 2+ years in Big Data, Data Security, Governance, and Controls
- Over 2 years of experience in front-end development
- 2+ years of experience following Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop resilient, cloud-native, and scalable data management and security solutions
- Inspire and cultivate talent by attracting and retaining top performers, actively participating in the hiring process, and fostering a motivated and energetic team environment while addressing challenges
- Utilize a strong engineering and technical background to swiftly comprehend and delve into our products and engineering solutions
- Accelerate the implementation of industry-leading engineering practices while staying updated on current innovations, trends, and practices to fuel ongoing incubated projects and rapid product prototypes
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, ensuring efficient management, reusability, and innersourcing of solutions where feasible, while guiding craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of outcomes
- Act as a mentor for stakeholders during design and architecture discussions, facilitating key technology decisions and remaining engaged throughout the development lifecycle
- Communicate effectively and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, building strong partnerships and gaining the trust of hands-on engineers and executives alike
