Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 4 years of programming experience in Python, Scala, or Java (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing data-intensive solutions utilizing distributed computing
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with recognized ML frameworks (such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow)
- At least 1 year of experience in productionizing, monitoring, and maintaining models
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 1 year of experience in building, scaling, and optimizing ML systems
- More than 1 year of experience in data gathering and preparation for ML models
- At least 2 years of experience in developing high-performance, resilient, and maintainable code
- Experience with deploying ML solutions in a public cloud environment like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Masters or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related field
- More than 3 years of experience with distributed file systems or multi-node database architectures
- Contributions to open-source ML software
- Authorship of a paper on a ML technique, model, or proof of concept
- Over 3 years of experience in building production-ready data pipelines for ML models
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling complex data pipelines for ML models and assessing their performance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product and Data Science teams to design, develop, and implement ML models and components that address real-world business challenges
- Utilize your knowledge of ML modeling techniques to inform decisions regarding ML infrastructure, including model selection, data handling, feature selection, training, hyperparameter optimization, dimensionality reduction, bias/variance management, and validation
- Tackle complex challenges by writing and testing application code, developing and validating ML models, and automating deployment and testing processes
- Engage as part of a cross-functional Agile team to create and improve software enabling advanced big data and ML applications
- Continuously retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production
- Utilize or create cloud-based architectures and technologies to scale optimized ML models
- Develop efficient data pipelines to supply input for ML models
- Adopt continuous integration and deployment best practices, including automated testing and monitoring, to ensure seamless deployment of ML models and application code
- Guarantee that all code is managed appropriately to minimize vulnerabilities, ensuring models are governed from a risk perspective, and adhere to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI
- Employ programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
