Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and implementing data-intensive solutions utilizing distributed computing
- At least 4 years of proficiency in programming with Python, Scala, or Java
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in constructing, enhancing, and optimizing machine learning systems
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams in the development of machine learning solutions
- Masters or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a similar discipline (preferred)
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred)
- More than 4 years experience with well-known ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow (preferred)
- Over 3 years of experience in writing efficient, resilient, and maintainable code (preferred)
- Over 3 years of experience in data preparation for machine learning models (preferred)
- 3+ years of people management experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated impact in the ML industry through conference presentations, publications, blog posts, open source contributions, or patents (preferred)
- More than 3 years of experience in building production-ready data pipelines for machine learning (preferred)
- Strong ability to convey intricate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences (preferred)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product and Data Science teams to design, construct, and deliver machine learning models and solutions targeting real-world business challenges
- Utilize knowledge of machine learning modeling techniques and considerations to inform infrastructure decisions, including model selection, data and feature selection, training methodologies, hyperparameter adjustments, and model validation
- Tackle complex challenges by writing, testing, and deploying application code while developing and validating machine learning models
- Participate as a member of a cross-functional Agile team to enhance software capabilities, enabling advanced big data and machine learning applications
- Supervise the retraining, maintenance, and monitoring of models in a production setting
- Leverage or develop cloud-based architectures and platforms for scaling optimized machine learning models
- Construct high-performance data pipelines to support machine learning models
- Apply best practices in continuous integration and deployment, including test automation and monitoring, to guarantee effective model deployment
- Ensure code management effectively minimizes vulnerabilities, maintains model governance from a risk perspective, and adheres to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java in the development process
