Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (internships excluded)
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters degree preferred
- Over 9 years of expertise in at least one programming language: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 4+ years with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services
- 4+ years working with open source frameworks
- 1+ years of experience in people management
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives and guide a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create compliant solutions
- Stay updated on technological trends, experiment with new tools, engage in internal and external tech communities, mentor engineering peers, and occasionally assist with coding or code evaluations
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize various programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as Container Orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS services
