Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not considered)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 9 years of experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc. (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience using open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of varied technology initiatives while managing a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that fulfill regulatory requirements for the organization
- Share expertise in current technology trends, experiment with and explore new technologies, engage with internal and external tech communities, mentor engineering peers, and occasionally contribute to coding and code evaluations
- Collaborate with digital product managers to develop robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences and empower millions of Americans financially
- Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS services and tools
