Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred:
- Masters Degree
- Over 9 years of experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- More than 4 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services
- At least 4 years in open source frameworks
- Over 1 year of people management experience
- More than 2 years in Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and guide a team of developers with extensive knowledge in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that fulfill regulatory requirements for the organization
- Share enthusiasm for keeping current with tech trends, experimenting with and adopting new technologies, engaging in technology communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally coding or reviewing code
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-oriented solutions that enhance user experiences and empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go; as well as Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
