Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse array of technology projects and guide a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that address the companys regulatory requirements
- Share enthusiasm for staying abreast of technological advancements, experimenting with new technologies, engaging in tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that enhance customer experiences, aiding millions of Americans in achieving financial empowerment
- Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
