Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience designing and developing data-intensive solutions using distributed computing (Internship experience is not counted)
- At least 4 years of coding experience with Python, Scala, or Java
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building, scaling, and optimizing machine learning systems
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams in the development of machine learning solutions
- Masters or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a similar discipline is preferred
- Experience in creating and deploying machine learning solutions within a public cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous
- Over 4 years of practical experience with widely used machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow
- More than 3 years of experience in developing efficient, resilient, and maintainable code
- Over 3 years of experience with data preparation and gathering for machine learning models
- More than 3 years of managing teams
- Contribution to the ML industry through conference presentations, publications, blog articles, open-source projects, or patents is beneficial
- More than 3 years of experience in constructing production-ready data pipelines for machine learning models
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to varied audiences

Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning models and components to address real-world business challenges in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams
- Guide infrastructure decisions for machine learning based on your expertise in modeling techniques and challenges, including model selection, data use, feature selection, model training, hyperparameter tuning, dimensionality, bias/variance, and validation
- Address complex issues by writing and testing application code, developing and validating models, and automating testing and deployment processes
- Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team to enhance software that supports advanced big data and machine learning applications
- Monitor, maintain, and retrain models in production environments
- Utilize or create cloud-based architectures, technologies, and platforms to deliver optimized machine learning models at scale
- Construct efficient data pipelines that feed into machine learning models
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices, including test automation and monitoring, to assure the successful deployment of models and application code
- Ensure all code is effectively managed to minimize vulnerabilities, and all models are well-regulated in terms of risk, adhering to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
