Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 6 years experience in cybersecurity or information technology
- At least 5 years experience providing oversight and guidance on cybersecurity principles
- A minimum of 5 years experience conducting security risk assessments or architecture reviews
- At least 5 years experience with cloud infrastructure, software design, or networking
- Minimum of 4 years experience in cloud security engineering
- At least 4 years experience securing a public cloud environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for Information Security related to Data Protection, Endpoint Security, and Cyber Intelligence services
- Coordinate proactive consulting on Information Security for business and technology teams, focusing on Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture, and User Access Management
- Act as an expert in Capital Ones Information Security capabilities, solutions, policies, procedures, and standards
- Encourage clients to adopt security capabilities and solutions to integrate security earlier in development processes
- Identify and escalate cyber security risks
- Provide support on urgent Information Security topics for the organization
- Deliver regular status updates to executive leadership regarding the overall Information Security landscape and risk factors
- Collaborate with leadership to anticipate their needs and objectives, ensuring their interests are met
