Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years in software engineering (internship experience is excluded)
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years in a people management role
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 9 years of experience in technologies such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks (preferred)
- Over 7 years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse array of technology projects and manage a team of developers well-versed in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions addressing regulatory needs
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new tools, engage in both internal and external tech communities, mentor fellow engineers, and occasionally code or assess code
- Work together with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that deliver impactful experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, and utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and an array of AWS tools and services
