Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not counted)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of varied technology projects along with a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create compliant solutions for the company
- Foster a culture of ongoing learning by staying updated on tech trends, testing new technologies, engaging in internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally programming or reviewing code
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver solid cloud-based solutions that drive exceptional experiences, aiding millions of Americans in achieving financial independence
- Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
