Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- 9 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 4 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
- 4 years of experience using open-source frameworks
- 1 year of experience managing people
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a range of diverse technology initiatives and a team of seasoned developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions addressing the company’s regulatory requirements
- Share insights on tech trends, explore and adopt new technologies, engage in both internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Occasionally code or review code as needed
- Work alongside digital product managers to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions, enhancing the financial empowerment of millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS technologies
