Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 9 years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- More than 4 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms (preferred)
- Over 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- At least 1 year of people management experience (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Agile practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead diverse technology projects and manage a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create compliant solutions for the company
- Stay current with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in technology communities, and mentor fellow engineers, including coding and code evaluation when needed
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance the financial empowerment of millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a set of AWS tools and services
