Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum 9 years of experience in software development
- At least 7 years of experience in managing teams
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
- 13+ years of experience in software development (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee, manage, and expand multiple teams of product-oriented software engineers
- Mentor and support the professional and technical growth of team members
- Collaborate with product managers to comprehend desired application functionalities and testing requirements
- Continuously enhance software engineering practices
- Work collaboratively within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions utilizing full-stack development tools and technologies
- Lead the quality, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
- Stay informed about technological advancements, engage in experimentation with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Foster creativity, the adoption of innovative technologies, inclusivity, teamwork, and diversity
- Collaborate with others to improve team efficiency and performance
- Spearhead the deployment of both new and existing applications in AWS environments
- Transition existing monolithic applications into microservices and develop new microservices
