Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internships not counted)
- At least 4 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- At least 6 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing teams
- 9 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (preferred)
- 6 years of coding and scripting experience (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby) (preferred)
- 4 years of experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and delivery (preferred)
- 3 years of experience with monitoring tools (like Splunk or Zabbix) (preferred)
- 3 years of experience with Container orchestration services (Docker or Kubernetes) (preferred)
- 3 years of experience working with Agile Development Practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse range of technology initiatives and lead a team of proficient developers
- Express enthusiasm for keeping abreast of technology trends, while experimenting and learning about new innovations
- Participate in both internal and external tech communities, as well as mentor fellow engineering team members
- Collaborate closely with digital product managers to develop impactful cloud-based solutions aimed at facilitating financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, along with Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as configuration management tools including Ansible and Terraform, alongside various AWS tools and services
