Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree - Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development (Internship experience not considered) - At least 1 year of experience with big data technologies - Preferred: 5 years of experience in application development with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java - Preferred: 2 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) - Preferred: 3 years experience with distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) - Preferred: 2 years experience working on real-time data and streaming applications - Preferred: 2 years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra) - Preferred: 2 years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake) - Preferred: 3 years of experience with UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and shell scripting - Preferred: 2 years of experience with Agile engineering practices

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies - Work alongside developers with profound expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems - Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake - Share enthusiasm for keeping up with tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies while participating in internal and external technology communities and mentoring fellow engineers - Partner with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences for millions of Americans towards financial empowerment - Conduct unit tests and reviews with team members to ensure that your code is meticulously designed, elegantly coded, and optimized for performance
