Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in application development (Internship experience not included)
- At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 4+ years of data warehousing experience (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift) (preferred)
- 9+ years of experience in application development with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning & Gen AI capabilities and tools (Iceberg, Delta adoption, Cortext) (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with AWS cloud services or other public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience working on large-scale Data Platforms (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with NoSQL implementations (Mongo, Cassandra) (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across Agile teams to design, architect, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
- Lead workload optimization and design capabilities to enhance performance at scale (e.g., SQL, Spark optimizations)
- Manage a team of developers skilled in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, as well as open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Stay updated on technological trends, experiment with new tools, engage in internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Conduct unit tests and collaborate with team members to ensure that the code is meticulously designed, effectively coded, and well-optimized for performance
