Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in data engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in data architecture
- A minimum of 3 years of experience building applications in AWS
- Masters Degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering preferred
- 3+ years of data modeling experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience with ontology standards preferred
- 2+ years of experience using Python, SQL, or Scala preferred
- 1+ year of experience deploying machine learning models preferred
- 3+ years of experience implementing big data processing solutions on AWS preferred
Responsibilities
- Enhance awareness and understanding of modern technologies, communicating benefits effectively to gain support
- Balance expertise with fostering an environment where diverse ideas can be expressed and valued
- Encourage a culture of engineering excellence, promoting the reuse of solutions when possible
- Communicate and influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organization effectively
- Serve as a trusted advisor for specific technologies or platforms, shaping unified use cases and implementations
- Lead initiatives in developing future talent for the tech sector, mentoring internal talent and recruiting external experts
