Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development (internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with big data technologies
- 5+ years of experience in application development, particularly with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
- 2+ years of experience with a public cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- 3+ years of experience using distributed data/computing tools such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
- 2+ years of experience in real-time data and streaming applications
- 2+ years of experience implementing NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- 2+ years of experience in data warehousing (Redshift or Snowflake)
- 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
- 2+ years of experience applying Agile engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to architect, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
- Work alongside a skilled team of developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
- Stay abreast of technological trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in internal and external technology communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Partner with digital product managers to provide robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in achieving financial success
- Conduct unit tests and reviews with team members to ensure your code is well-designed, efficiently coded, and optimized for performance
