Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year working with big data technologies
- 5+ years of experience in application development using Python (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with a public cloud service (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in real-time data and streaming applications (preferred)
- 2+ years working on NoSQL implementations (DynamoDB, Cassandra) (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in data warehousing (Redshift or Snowflake) (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support comprehensive technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
- Work alongside a team of developers skilled in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
- Share enthusiasm for current tech trends, conduct experiments with new technologies, engage in both internal and external tech communities, and mentor peers in the engineering field
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences, assisting millions of Americans in achieving financial empowerment
- Execute unit tests and carry out reviews with team members to ensure your code is meticulously designed, well coded, and optimized for performance
