Senior Business Analyst - Payments & Cards

- Analyze business challenges and identify opportunities for enhancement, offering strategic or tactical recommendations - Conduct modeling and analytics to support new product and pricing strategies for various lending solutions - Assist in direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives for selected products and strategic branding for retail-distributed products, generating insights to develop new customer experiences - Enhance credit performance by aligning future consumer credit trend drivers with historical data, creating risk models, and rigorously testing hypotheses - Frame problems, formulate hypotheses, conduct tests and analyses, devise solutions, assess operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts, and establish monitoring plans - Collaborate across Capital One, engaging with teams in IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others to drive enhancements in quality, volume, service, and profitability - Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities grounded in analytical data - Exhibit strong leadership and sound judgment, maintaining an assertive yet responsible business approach - Communicate effectively, with excellent writing and speaking skills, influencing strategically and achieving consensus through intellect and negotiation - Maintain a results-driven mindset, focusing on both immediate and long-term objectives in dynamic environments - Thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings; previous consulting experience is advantageous
