Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience (internships not counted)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a relevant discipline
- Over 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 3 or more years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 4+ years of experience using open-source frameworks
- At least 1 year in a people management role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Agile environments
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology initiatives and supervise a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full-stack systems
- Share your enthusiasm for keeping abreast of technology trends, exploring new technologies, engaging with internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code
- Work in partnership with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance the financial empowerment of millions
- Employ programming languages including Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services
