Senior Android Software Engineer - Baltimore

- Create Android client code solutions that align with Product Strategy and follow established engineering best practices - Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver engaging and effective customer experiences - Actively participate in agile ceremonies, ensuring team commitments are met on time and with top quality - Serve as a passionate supporter of the mobile platform through internal and external developer communities - Continuously learn about mobile development technologies such as Kotlin and third-party libraries - Contribute to team discussions and integrate feedback and communication from the broader team - Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level team members - Engage proactively with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines - Take ownership of major components and platform needs in collaboration with Senior Engineers and Architects - Share best practices consistently and work on improving processes within and across sprint teams - Identify technical challenges early and collaborate with the team to devise innovative solutions - Review pull requests and ensure compliance with Kotlin and other language conventions
