Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering (internships excluded)
- At least 2 years of experience in developing Android applications
- A minimum of 2 years working with Kotlin
- 3+ years preferred experience in Android development
- 3+ years preferred experience with Kotlin
- 1+ year preferred experience with Android Studio
- 1+ year preferred experience with open-source frameworks
- 1+ year preferred experience with Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Create Android client code solutions that align with the Product Strategy and follow best engineering practices and design principles
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver engaging and high-quality customer experiences
- Participate in all agile ceremonies, ensuring team commitments are met effectively and efficiently
- Advocate for the mobile platform within both internal and external developer communities
- Stay updated on all technologies related to mobile development (e.g., Kotlin, Swift, third-party libraries)
- Contribute to group discussions and actively incorporate feedback from the team
- Mentor junior to mid-level team members
- Engage with developers outside the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)
- Lead the delivery of major components and platform requirements alongside Senior Engineers and Architects
- Share best practices and enhance processes within and across agile teams
- Identify technical challenges early and collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions
- Review pull requests ensuring adherence to Kotlin and other coding standards
