Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internships do not count)
- At least 2 years in developing Android applications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Kotlin
- 3+ years of experience in building Android applications (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience using Kotlin (preferred)
- 1+ years with open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience working with Agile practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Create Android client code that aligns with Product Strategy and follows engineering best practices and design principles
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, Product Owners, and Analysts to deliver engaging and impactful customer experiences
- Actively participate in team agile ceremonies to ensure timely and quality delivery of commitments
- Advocate for the mobile platform within external and internal developer communities
- Continuously learn about technologies relevant to mobile development, such as Kotlin and Swift
- Influence team discussions and integrate feedback from the broader team
- Mentor junior to mid-level team members
- Engage with developers from various disciplines outside of the local sprint team, including Android, iOS, APIs, and Web
- Lead and manage the delivery of major components and platform requirements with Senior Engineers and Architects
- Share best practices and enhance processes within and across sprint teams
- Identify and address technical challenges early, collaborating with the team to devise innovative solutions
- Review pull requests and ensure compliance with Kotlin and other language standards
