Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or a Masters degree in the same fields, along with relevant experience developing AI and ML technologies.
- At least 6 years of experience in programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
- 7 years of experience in architecting scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferred).
- Experience in designing, developing, and supporting intricate AI systems.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with developing advanced AI techniques such as LLM Inference, Similarity Search, and VectorDBs.
- Demonstrated capability to improve software performance through cutting-edge optimization techniques.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex AI concepts to colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, and product managers to create AI-driven products that enhance associate experiences and customer interactions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including foundation model training and large language model inference.
- Utilize a range of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, including AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and PyTorch.
- Innovate and implement advanced LLM optimization methods to enhance large-scale production AI systems in terms of scalability, cost, and performance.
- Contribute to both the technical vision and long-term strategy of foundational AI systems at Capital One.
