Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies, or a Masters degree in the aforementioned fields with at least 8 years of relevant experience
- At least 10 years of programming experience with languages like Python, Go, Scala, or Java
- A strong foundation in engineering and mathematics, with extensive knowledge in hardware, software, and AI
- Proven experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Demonstrated ability to architect and integrate complex enterprise AI systems
- Experience leading and mentoring teams, influencing stakeholders up to the senior vice president level
- Proficient in developing AI algorithms using Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang
- Familiarity with optimizing training and inference processes to enhance hardware utilization and reduce latency
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly
- Background in building multi-modal models for applications like computer vision, speech recognition, or autonomous systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to create AI-driven products that enhance associate operations and customer interactions
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including foundation model training and large language model inference
- Utilize a variety of Open Source and SaaS AI tools and technologies
- Develop innovative techniques for large-scale AI systems to optimize performance in terms of scalability, cost, latency, and throughput
- Contribute to the strategic vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems at the organization
