Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields and a minimum of 3 years of experience in AI and ML development
- Masters degree in relevant fields with at least 1 year of AI and ML experience is also acceptable
- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming in Python, Go, Scala, or Java
- 4 years of experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS or equivalent
- Proven experience in developing AI services and technologies, including LLM Inference and Similarity Search
- Knowledge in optimizing training and inference software for better performance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to create AI-driven products that improve user interactions with Capital One
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components including model training and evaluation
- Utilize various Open Source and SaaS AI tools and technologies, such as AWS Ultraclusters and PyTorch
- Innovate and implement advanced LLM optimization methods to enhance AI system efficiency
- Contribute to the technical vision and strategic roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One
