Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with at least 6 years of experience in AI and ML technologies, or a Masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the same.
- At least 6 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
- 7 years of experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is preferred.
- Experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex AI systems.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring engineering teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing AI and ML algorithms using languages like Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang.
- Familiarity with optimization methods for enhancing AI training and inference software.
- Passion for keeping up with the latest AI research and applying innovative techniques in production environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain complex AI concepts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, research scientists, and product managers to create AI-driven products that transform customer interactions with Capital One.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including model training, inference, and governance.
- Utilize various Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, such as AWS Ultraclusters and PyTorch, to enhance application performance.
- Innovate and implement cutting-edge techniques for optimizing large-scale AI systems in terms of performance and cost.
- Contribute to the long-term technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One.
