Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies, or a Masters degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- A minimum of 3 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java
- 4 years of experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
- Experience in developing and supporting AI services
- Familiarity with AI algorithms and technologies (e.g., LLM Inference, Similarity Search, Guardrails) using programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang
- Proficiency in optimizing training and inference software for performance improvements
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver innovative AI-driven products that enhance user interaction with Capital One
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including foundation model training, large language model inference, and model evaluation
- Utilize a wide array of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and PyTorch
- Develop and apply state-of-the-art optimization techniques to improve the efficiency of large-scale production AI systems
- Contribute to the technical vision and long-term strategy for foundational AI systems at Capital One
