Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related) plus 5 years of data analytics experience
- Masters degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative focus plus 3 years of data analytics experience
- PhD in a quantitative field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS
- Minimum 3 years of proficiency in Python, Scala, or R
- 3 years of experience in machine learning
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), finetuning, and deep learning
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, applied researchers, software engineers, machine learning engineers, and product managers to develop AI-driven products
- Utilize a diverse technology stack including Pytorch, Hugging Face, AWS Ultraclusters, LangChain, VectorDBs, and others to extract insights from large datasets
- Serve as the subject matter expert in Natural Language Processing (NLP), adapting and fine-tuning LLMs for business-specific use cases
- Construct NLP models through all stages of development—design, training, evaluation, and validation—while partnering with engineering teams for scalability
- Employ interpersonal abilities to translate complex work into concrete business objectives
- Stay abreast of and investigate emerging technologies to incorporate them into projects
- Engage creatively in addressing undefined challenges and proposing innovative solutions
