Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5 years of experience in data analytics
- A Masters degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative focus, accompanied by 3 years of experience in data analytics
- A PhD in a quantitative area such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Proficiency with open-source programming languages and cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS
- Experience in developing data science solutions utilizing open-source tools
- Capability to build, validate, and backtest models as well as interpret results from confusion matrices and ROC curves
- Familiarity with advanced methodologies including clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series analysis, and deep learning
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to create a product that resonates with customers
- Utilize a comprehensive suite of technologies, such as Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, to extract valuable insights from substantial datasets
- Develop machine learning models through all stages from conceptualization to training, evaluation, validation, and deployment
- Employ effective communication skills to translate complex technical findings into achievable business objectives
