Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not count)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing people
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with Test Automation (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with testing and implementing API service architecture using Spring Boot, Java, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Gatling, Xray, or Pact Testing (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of technology projects and manage a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop solutions that fulfill the companys regulatory requirements
- Foster a culture of innovation by staying updated on technological trends and engaging with both internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers
- Collaborate effectively with digital product managers to create powerful cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and promote financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and a diverse range of AWS services
