Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree preferred
- Over 7 years of experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go is a plus
- More than 3 years of experience in using AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services preferred
- At least 4 years of experience working with open source frameworks
- Minimum of 1 year in a management role preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a wide array of technology projects, guiding a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create solutions meeting regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for keeping up with technological advancements, engaging in new technology experimentation, participating in tech communities, and mentoring engineering peers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that foster financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Utilize various programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside open-source databases and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as a range of AWS tools and services
