Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internships do not count)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree is preferred
- 7 years of experience in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3 years of experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar)
- 4 years of experience in open-source frameworks
- 1 year of experience in people management
- 2 years of experience applying Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead various technology projects while managing a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to craft regulatory-compliant solutions
- Share enthusiasm for current technology trends and engage in experimenting with and learning new tools
- Participate in both internal and external tech communities and mentor fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to create impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and container orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as a variety of AWS services
