Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Go, or TypeScript/Node.js
- 3+ years of experience with RESTful API design
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services (preferably AWS)
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
- 2+ years with CI/CD practices
- 2+ years of experience in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage APIs and microservices for content authoring, versioning, approval processes, and multi-channel publishing
- Design and manage digital asset pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, metadata tagging, rights management, and secure CDN delivery (signed URLs, token-based access)
- Assist in content migration initiatives, encompassing ETL pipelines for transferring content between CMS platforms (e.g., AEM to Bloomreach) while ensuring data integrity
- Establish search and retrieval functionalities using Elasticsearch or similar technologies, optimizing for predominantly read-heavy workloads
- Write thoroughly tested, production-ready code including comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests; engage in CI/CD pipeline development
- Address RTO/RPO requirements and establish resilience patterns (circuit breakers, graceful degradation, failover) pertinent to a banking regulatory environment
- Work collaboratively with product managers, content strategists, and compliance teams to convert business needs into technical solutions
