Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience is not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a range of diverse technology initiatives, overseeing a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack solutions to fulfill company regulatory requirements
- Stay updated with technology trends, explore and learn new technologies, engage with both internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Work in partnership with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages and tools such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, Open Source databases, Container Orchestration including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services
