Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not count)
- At least 3 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- A minimum of 4 years in Unix or Linux system administration
- 7+ years of DevOps Engineering experience preferred
- 4+ years of coding and scripting experience (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl or Ruby) preferred
- 4+ years of experience with technologies like Apache Mesos, Marathon, or Apache Spark preferred
- 4+ years utilizing build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Docker) preferred
- 2+ years working with distributed database systems (Cassandra, ElasticSearch) preferred
- 2+ years of experience deploying clustered web services preferred
- 2+ years working in Agile Development Practices preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse range of technology projects and a skilled team of developers specializing in machine learning, microservices, and full stack systems to fulfill regulatory requirements for the organization
- Keep abreast of technological advances, explore and acquire new tools, engage with both internal and external tech communities, and guide fellow engineering team members
- Partner with digital product managers to create solid cloud-based solutions that provide impactful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial independence
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, along with Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and configuration management tools including Ansible and Terraform, along with various AWS services
