Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internships not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree preferred
- Over 7 years of experience with technologies such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- More than 3 years of cloud service experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar
- 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks
- 1+ year of management experience in a team environment
- 2+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse array of technology projects alongside a team of skilled developers focusing on distributed microservices and full stack systems to fulfill the companys regulatory obligations
- Stay updated on technological advancements, while experimenting and learning new tools, and engage with both internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Apply various programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
