Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or other cloud services
- Preferred: 4+ years of open source frameworks experience
- Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience
- Preferred: 2+ years in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects alongside a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that meet regulatory requirements for the organization
- Share your enthusiasm for keeping abreast of tech trends by experimenting with new technologies, engaging in technology communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally participating in coding and code evaluations
- Collaborate with digital product managers to develop robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala; utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases; implement container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes; and leverage various AWS tools and services
