Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience (Internship experience is excluded) - At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) - Master’s Degree (preferred) - 7 years of experience in at least one programming language such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred) - 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred) - 4 years of experience with open source frameworks (preferred) - 1 year of experience in a people management role (preferred) - 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)

Responsibilities

- Oversee a range of diverse technology initiatives and guide a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack environments to devise solutions that fulfill the companys regulatory requirements - Stay abreast of the latest technological trends, engage in experimentation and learning of new technologies, contribute to internal and external tech communities, mentor fellow engineering team members, and occasionally write or assess code - Collaborate closely with digital product managers to deliver resilient cloud-based solutions aimed at empowering millions of Americans with their financial goals - Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS services
