Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internship experience)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology projects and guide a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to craft solutions that support regulatory requirements
- Stay abreast of technology trends, experiment with and learn new tools, engage with internal and external tech communities, mentor fellow engineers, and occasionally write or assess code
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that provide meaningful experiences, helping millions of Americans gain financial empowerment
- Apply programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, utilizing Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, along with various AWS tools and services
